TLC Heating and Cooling
HVAC Brands We Service
You do not have to replace your heating or cooling equipment just because it carries a different name. TLC services all major HVAC brands, including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, York, Rheem, and Goodman.
We help homes and businesses across Wake, Durham, and Franklin counties and surrounding areas with repair, maintenance, and replacement planning.
Help for the equipment you already own
Whether you need Carrier AC repair, Trane heat-pump service, Lennox furnace repair, or help with York, Rheem, or Goodman equipment, start by telling us what the system is doing. A brand name is useful, but the symptoms and equipment type help us plan the right visit.
An AC that blows warm air, a furnace that will not heat, or a heat pump that struggles to keep the house comfortable needs a diagnosis—not an assumption based on the logo. We explain our findings and the proposed work before you decide how to proceed.

Brand, model, and system type all matter
Manufacturers make many equipment families. A conventional split system, communicating system, packaged unit, and ductless system can require different controls, parts, and service procedures. We consider the actual equipment and installation, not just the brand on the cabinet.
If you can safely see the equipment label, share the brand and model number when requesting service. Indoor and outdoor units may have separate labels. A photo can help, but do not remove panels or enter an unsafe area to get it. You can contact us without a model number.
Have equipment from another manufacturer? Ask us. Our service is not limited to the six brands listed here; we discuss your system and the support it needs.
Repair, maintenance, or replacement?
For a current breakdown, request a repair evaluation and describe the symptom. Routine maintenance is intended for ongoing care and should not be treated as a guaranteed fix for a known fault. If your system is operating, tell us about changes in sound, airflow, comfort, or cycling so those concerns can be discussed during service.
When replacement is worth considering, compare the repair findings, equipment condition, available options, and your comfort goals. A matching brand name alone does not establish compatibility. A replacement proposal should address the indoor and outdoor equipment, controls, and installation needs as applicable.

Brand-service questions
Do you work on a system installed by another company?
Yes. Tell us the equipment brand, the problem, and any service history you have. TLC can discuss repair or maintenance even if we did not install the system. The visit and available options depend on the equipment and findings.
Does servicing a brand mean you are an authorized dealer?
No. This page describes our independent service capabilities. It does not claim manufacturer affiliation, authorized-dealer status, or authorization to perform manufacturer warranty work.
Will a repair be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty?
Coverage depends on the equipment, registration, warranty terms, and the specific issue. Parts and labor coverage can differ. Share any warranty documents you have, and confirm coverage and responsibility for costs before approving work; a brand-service listing is not a warranty guarantee.
Can you promise a particular part will be available?
No. Part availability varies by model, age, supplier, and the repair needed. We identify the equipment and discuss the proposed next step rather than promise a part or completion time before assessment.
Tell us your brand and what has changed
Request service with your city, equipment type, and a short description of the problem. We will discuss coverage and scheduling for your property. Submitting a request does not reserve an appointment.
